Allpress Emerging Artist Series Cup – Sara Gonzalez

Designed and handmade by local ceramic artist Sara Gonzalez, this limited-edition ceramic mug is the first release in our Emerging Artist Series.

Sara's practice centres on functional objects shaped by material, process and everyday use. The result is a cup that feels considered in the hand, with a refined, stackable form, comfortable handle and balanced proportions designed for daily coffee rituals.

Each piece is finished in Tenmoku, a traditional Japanese iron glaze known for its rich depth and subtle variation. Fired at high temperatures, the glaze develops warm tones ranging from honeyed brown to deep chocolate, ensuring every cup is unique.
